• What does a session musician do?

A session musician is hired on a temporary basis to record or perform music with a variety of artists. In my case, I usually record rather than perform for scheduling ease!

• How does this process work?

Contact me using the form below to set up an initial appointment. We will talk about your project, your goals regarding my role, and potential rates. From there we will either schedule a follow up appointment or schedule recording dates!

• Who can hire a session musician?

I am of the belief that connection is needed in order for our polarized society to change. Yes, I want to work with you regardless of your race/nationality/religion/gender identity/sexuality/political beliefs. I MEAN IT!

Just because I will work with you regardless of any beliefs you may hold against me or my community, I will not tolerate hate/harassment/disrespect.

I will treat you with the same dignity and respect that every human deserves. If you truly cannot do the same because of my gender identity or sexuality, do not hire me.

I ask to be featured separately on albums that I am a smaller part of. This expectation is flexible and reviewed on a case by case basis.

$75.00 per hour OR $100.00 per song

I offer self-composition services for those who haven’t had experience with writing for stringed instruments before. This system requires different rates depending on how much work I need to do outside of the recording studio. We can discuss which rate is right for you in our first meeting.
